2025 workshops
De Haan studio is a teaching space dedicated to immersive ceramics workshops. We offer three and five-day intensive courses, suitable for various skill levels, from curious beginners to advanced artists looking to refine their technique. Studio founder Maria De Haan and a revolving group of international guest ceramicists teach the workshops.
Workshops are focused on wheel work and, occasionally, hand-building. We also create bespoke workshops for small groups and host special taster days on our rooftop terrace.
Taster workshops.
The taster workshops will be either on our roof terrace or main studio depending on availability.
2 hour taster. 150 €
2.5 hour taster plus 250 €
Taster plus - includes wine, cava, coffee plus a delicious selection of local produce. We also trim and glaze your pieces for you.

July 16 – 18 3 day Moon Jar workshop. Medium /Advanced
July 21 – 25 5-day half-day. All levels (Half-day workshops run from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, leaving afternoons free to enjoy, long lazy lunches, and swimming in Cala Deià)

Our intensive workshops include tuition, all materials, and the shipping of completed works. Participants will enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, refreshments and snacks throughout the session. Please note that the number of pieces students are able to take home after the workshop is limited to between 3 and 5 pieces depending on size. The pieces will be fired twice, glazed and shipped to your home address.
